I will not get out of bed

I will not get out of bed.
The thought of facing the world is frightening.
To hurt the people who depend on me the most.
I will not get out of bed.
For the world is full of disappointments.
And for now I will not be one of them.

My name BrookeLynn. I’m a military kid, I move around a lot, which is why I had the idea of putting anxiety and depression into my poem. I know how it feels to not get out of bed because of moving around so much. It cause me a lot of stress and often like the person I write about in my poem, causes me to feel like I am nothing. This poem was to say what most people think but are unwilling to say.
