Do you ever sit up at night
Staring blankly into your room
which consists of no light,
because when you dream
you dream of the past
past memories
of fake love
and happiness you thought would last,
maybe then you’ll realize that up above
where the night sky shows stars
is a lie
because the night sky
only lights up on sad nights
because the stars in the night sky
are really the tears
that fall from my eye
