do you remember
when life used to be great
and i wasn’t writing about my stupid life
that I hate,
i remembered
when the darkness of my eyelids weren’t scary
but now they’re terrifying
and she claims it’s just
“bad timing”
but i claim it’s because you broke his heart
and left him crying
singing dark songs about dying
in a dark room with nobody by him,
maybe that’s why my room is so dark
and my eyes are so dry
maybe it’s not because you loved me
maybe
it’s that you fell for another guy
