Waiting for me to say "I miss you too"
Yet I cannot utter those words because
I begin to think if I do really
I mean how can I miss something I've
tolerated to have no feeling toward

This poem is just about how I have basically guarded myself to a point where I don't miss someone who has continued to hurt me. I do this unitentionally as a way to protect myself.
