The real heros of the world
The real heros are fearless
The ones who risk their own life for others
They aren't the ones who wear tacky outfits and weird masks
The real heros run into burning buildings
Or pull people out of crashed cars
The real heros put the life of strangers before their own
The real heroes don't always get the amount of praise they deserve
Children dream to be the men and women who are make believe

This poem means a lot to me because I have many family members who survive in the military fighting for our country.
