Why Can't We Escape?
Why can't we escape it?
A man in a robe wielding a scythe.
Why does he hunt us all?
His first hunt began at the very first animal,
And he won't stop until everything is gone.
But why?
Why must he kill the ones we love?
My mother, my grandma, three friends-
He kidnapped them all.
When his scythe strikes,
Whether you be young, old, healthy, or ill,
All happiness will be stolen too.
One day his scythe shall bare down on you and I,
So why not enjoy the glee we own
Before he sucks it all away.
May we see his scythe at our oldest-
For his name is Death.
And he shows no mercy.
