Things Lost
Have you ever lost a family member,
Have you ever had to walk into a room,
Knowing that something feels off.
The room has lost its magic,
Or its light, its life,
And it can be quite obvious.
Obvious that something,
Someone
Is missing.
That something feels
Off,
That something just is not right.
There is something missing to life.
There is a part missing from your heart.
The part missing can be refilled, however,
It takes time, and it takes a lot of work and strength.
While the missing piece can be replaced,
It will never fill the opening the exact same way as before.
There will forever be gaps from the misplaced piece,
But that’s what happens when you lose something, well,
someone.
