as furious as the sun
as casual as the pastel highlighter
in my pencil pouch
a color we associate with
happiness, positivity
all around good thoughts
the one color that carries
the most warmth
the most innocence
not like the ferocious red
or like the lonesome blue
not even the tranquil green
a color we can count on
to lift our spirits
and keep us going
