The splendor of the leaves
In bright and beautiful colors
Lightens my mood
And brings me cheer
The kind of cheer
That gives you a warm smile
And the smell of autumn
Dancing in the breeze
The kind of cheer
That makes all bad thoughts
Leave your body
And be replaced by happiness
The kind of cheer
We normally forget about
But reminds us gently
To its thoughtful presence
