Down My Veins
It runs down my veins.
This is my game.
My people love it,
we feel it in our souls.
Listen,move,feel;
Be one with the rythm
Salsa,Reggeton,Cumbia
Not only do we rejoice in it,
but we make it happen.
Listen to the trumpets,
all high, mighty,and proud.
As loud as the crowd;
But wait!There's more!
The trombone's big bell
plays the down beats
of the ballad.They
keep the band in check.
So many more sounds
to be heard now!
The guitar! How could you
ever forget about it?
The four long strings
each make a little ting
My culture builds of music,
every note matters, to make a whole.
Treble clef, Bass clef, Alto clef, Tenor clef;
They all come together
to something beautiful.
It's more than just music.
It's what the soul views in.
This runs down my veins;
Forever the same.
