The Storm that Follows me.
Monday morning
Looking around until I saw it
A storm was brewing in the distance
I turn back and walk the other direction
But I can still hear
the thunder and lightning strikes behind me
I bubbled up with fear and ran away
The storm was gone for a while
Or so I thought
I fill with relief
Until I look back
And see the storm right behind me
Louder and stronger than ever
The lightning strikes

I try to run even faster than before
Then I hear it

Time for lunch
I run to my locker
I can still hear it though
Now I can hear the people coming up to me
A big crowd asking “is it true?”
But I rushed to the side
To find my friends
And walk with them to lunch.
