I can’t see
I can’t breathe
All I can do is wait
And hope my life turns out alright
The devil reaches up
He pulls me down
I’m fighting
I’m crying
I’m clawing at the ground
Not letting go
Not conceding
I won’t be pulled down
I am a lion
Thrashing
Biting
Clawing at the ground
He won’t let go
The world is like heaven
bright and beautiful
A newborn baby waiting to be corrupted
I have seen things
I have known things
I will never be the same
I can’t see
I can’t breathe
All I can do is wait
And hope my life turns out alright
