We all live in the continent of Africa,

But you probably don’t care,

We all live in the parched deserts, that cry for water,

But you probably don’t care,

We all struggle to stay safe from the dangers lurking in the grass,

But you probably don’t care.

Do you ever think what will happen to us?

Do you ever wonder what a world without us, animals, would be like?

Do you ever wonder what an empty space of land represents?

But you probably don’t care because you haven’t done anything to save us.

There is a dark business that is spreading through Africa,

It is like a contagious disease that is spreading to all of us,

One day were here and the next we might be gone,

This is due to illegal animal poaching.

There are approximately 100 African Elephants that die everyday,

This means there are 36,500 that die a year!

But this number probably doesn't phase you because you don’t care.

We all need your help,

We have claws, but they have guns

We have height, but they have helicopters

We have four legs, but they have cars

We don’t stand a chance, but with your help we might

They say we are useful for your personal products,

But how?

We are as useless as the dust when we perish

They say we make good home decor

But how?

When we were created to live in the wilderness, not homes,

They say a lot about us, but they don’t know what it’s like,

Being hunted for your fur and organs, isn’t fun,

But what have you done?

Have you done anything to help?

There were four African Elephants that were killed, illegally,

Thirteen Mountain Gorillas, in Africa, were sold, illegally

A Black Rhino was hunted for their horn, illegally,

See, the numbers speak for themselves,

We are all being taken out by this disaster,

Soon, we will all become extinct.

We are all being hunted, by these destructive creatures who are wiping out our population,

But by now you probably still don’t care,

We are all suffering, from the constant threats of guns that ring in the distance,

But by now you probably could care less,

We all need your help, so we can make it through this storm,

But by now I think you get it,

So, get off the phone and make a change,

You can be the one to save us,
