Quiet and Calm
She sat in silence.
Wrecked by all her problems,
She wasn't sure how to move on from the consequences of her mistakes.
She couldn't hold back her fears.
The tears streamed off her warm rounded cheeks,
as if they were melted chocolate running down a marshmallow.
She pulled her knees to her chest,
wondering if she will ever be heard or understood by anyone she cares about.
If people will keep secrets to themselves, or if they will throw them in the wind as if they were tons of balloons being released into the sky.
She wasn't afraid.
She wasn't worried.
She was silent.
