Hidden Love

Love likes to play hide and seek,
Sometimes it’s there and then it’s gone.
But when I do find it,
It doesn’t seem to stay for long.
When it’s here,
It swallows me in happiness.
As it disappears,
I am left with nothing but emptiness.
But as I have grown,
I have learned that love never really leaves.
Sometimes I just have to look for it,
And then, from its hiding spot, Love reveals
