woman within the mountain
November 14, 2018
she sleeps with one eye open
looking down on me
her knees propped up
doused with snow
quietly, she shouts;
not letting her beauty go unseen
she rests tucked away
hidden beneath the fog
that so delicately rests on me
i call to her;
she answers
protecting me.
