All made the same way

All decay the same way

All seek to find a fulfillment in life

And yet not all people are treated the same way

Based on the color of their skin

Their language or religion

Certain people are profiled

Thrown racial slurs

A middle eastern kid can’t make a clock

Without it being a bomb

A black male can’t walk home

Without someone calling the cops

A hispanic family can’t go on vacation

Without being stopped and checked for drugs

People judge books by their covers

Instead of reading the dust jacket

It makes everyone like them

There are people who do bad things everywhere in the world

Just like there are people who aspire to do good

Ethnicity determines how you look and dress

Not your actions
