You stare out the window watching,
Seeing birds fly by,
Staring at leaves as they fall to the ground.
You focus on the birds,
The rest of the world blurs.
You wonder what it’s like,
Flying like a bird,
To be free.
That’s all you ever wanted,
Freedom.
