A thunderous storm,

A louder report,

All will now hear my retort!

Be proud young child,

for whenever you smile

You have just broken the chains!

The chains that pain you!

The chains that strain you!

The chains that hold and stain you!

Remember to smile

my sweet summer child!

For the storm inside of you,

the massive, swirling

forever engorging,

swirl of doubt and pain;

is merely a prick

of a small little needle

compared to that of a smile

A smile can free you

can forever release you

from the pain that holds you down

So remember to smile

my sweet summer child

for your smile is one

that can bring out the sun

and banish the storm away
