Living the Dream

I am not here I am elsewhere
Pushing my toes farther into the sand
as I take my first step on the beach
running as fast as I can to the water
the sand disagreeing with my every step holding me back
but as hard as it trys nothing can hold me back
going to the water
I want to be there so bad
racing racing racing
finially I get to the water
I screem because of the coldness
getting used to it
feeling the summer sun burn on my back
as I float
Jumping on the waves
riding the waves
playing in the sand
a day at the beach
living the dream

I am a beach girl. I always want to be there and could spend days apon days even weeks just being in the water on the beach.
