Don't set boundaries for yourself.
Because building boundaries is only going to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

Never fall in love with a poet.

They will break you apart;

like stanzas.

You are a metaphor, a similie, an oxymoron.

Never fall in love with a poet,

they will tear you apart;

like a rought draft.

They will destroy you,

then call it art.

"Dearly Beloved, We are gathered here today to get through this thing called life."

- Prince Rogers Nelson (1958-2016)

This poem hit me hard. I fell in love with a boy of the theater. He used me and it seems he used that as motivation in his life, when it turned to weight in mine. You poetry is truly beautiful.
