The Lasts
Senior year-
the last year of high school,
the last year of Friday night lights, basketball games against Beckman,
and passing our best friends in the hallways every day.
Senior year is bittersweet;
we have all finally finished our high school career
but
then we all leave,
go our separate ways,
and the last day of senior year
was our last day all together.
So, these are the days we should all cherish-
the small moments,
composition classes, basketball games, pep rallies
and also, the big moments, the lasts.
The last homecoming dance, the last football game, the last basketball game,
the last prom, state track, and graduation.
Senior year is full of lasts,
so we must hold each day close to our hearts because soon,
the last day of senior year will come,
and we will have spent our last day as a
Cougar
in Cascade High School.
