You can argue about your religion,

You can fight about the things you believe in,

Or you can sit back and listen to others opinions.

You may protest about reproductive rights,

But you may not get mad about retaliation,

Because just like yourself they have their own solution.

Although for the both of you it ends in frustration.

You don’t have to agree

But this country is free,

In fact it’s an amendment,

Your freedom of speech.

Believe in what you choose to,

But don’t put others down for what they do.

Perhaps you don’t know the things they have been through.

Don’t get hurt by others beliefs,

Respect them and leave things at peace.

Being close minded gets you hated,

So take pride in whatever you believe in

When you give others respect,

That is where it is taken.
