The love we shared was perfect or at least it was in my mind. I thought we would last forever, but I was wrong. I was a fool lost in her own dreams because our love would never be a reality. You tricked me with your words and blinded me with your touch. I felt for you what I had felt for no other. I hoped you would be my last love and in a way you were. The day you told me you didn't love me shattered me to the point where I may never love again. I date other men in desperation to try to forget, but I can't. Your face, your voice the way you smiled at me…everything it's so hard to forget. A love like the love we had will always be stuck in my head.
