The Voice of Daedalus MAG
They say I mistake my arrogance for dreams
As if I am Icarus
My dreams are more dangerous than they seem
Yesterday, my dreams could change the world
But those dreams were
Crushed
Killed
Destroyed
They have their own dreams for me
I refuse to leave the fate of my future in the hands of someone
Who doesn’t believe in me
I will become whomever I want to be
I will continue to pursue my dreams
No matter how large or small
But there will always be a Daedalus
In the back of my mind
To remind me that I’m soaring
Just a little too high.
