Chocolate Eyes
She was terrified to admit, that her feelings had grown
As much as she tried she couldn't shake the quickening of her heart
and the hurricane in her stomach at the sound of his name
Having never felt this way before
Every instinct told her to run, to get out before it was to late
But he was persistent
Making it near impossible not to fall
She secretly looked forward to the good mornings and good nights
And as stubborn as her mind was, he made his way into her midnight dreams
But despite these feelings she had yet the nerve
To pore into those chocolate eyes and speak three simple words
I love you
