Paralysis

Everything is grey

The days blend into an indistinct throb of pain,

I’m very tired.

Consuming various stimuli seems to be of little use

The throb yet persists.

Nine hours of sleep, yet I still feel as if I’m constantly drifting off.

I care little for the world

I care little for my friends.

Which may sound awful,

But I care little about such things.

Not so much a rain cloud as an overcast day.

Negative apathy

Intrusive

Permeating.

Everything is grey.

And I feel that despite my body’s continued movement,

My mind has been paralyzed.
