Invisible Trail
My dirty converse
leave behind an invisible trail
Marking the steps that I have taken
Across this earth
Imprinting a subtle trace-
My mark is a silent one
It lingers if you listen
Stay still
Can you hear it?
It seeps into your skin
settles in your heart
Enough to sink in deep
Does it feel like the morning wind
Or a midnight storm?
Does it feel like enough for you to feel it at all?
