The Fish and The Bird
Abandoned by his lovebird, the bird was vengeful
Full of hate — empty in love
He’d trap his sight in the schools below the crisp body beneath his lonely home
The fish, sharp and narrow,
pierced those who loved him.
They q u i v e r e d in their reality — sad and dull.
Leaping beyond the pool,
they cried.
drip
drop
drip
drop
The bird neighboring overheard…
The bird of RAGE stormed
to the fish.
The bird delivered a CURSE,
a deluge of fire.
To a distant and v a s t desert,
the fliPPers shall reside.
The fish fell fried far from his friends.
UN loved like the dry deserted desert.
UN loved like the yearning lovebird
