Cancer
Cancer, you have taken away
my aunt Cara Rosemary Monier,
October 26th, 2017
my uncle, Danny,
August 12th, 2018
and, my moms best friend, Stacey Swaney.
September 18th, 2018
But those are only the people who are dear to me
you’ve taken away.
You’ve taken away millions of other people.
You are a tough enemy,
but tough isn't
impossible,
which is why so many people try to beat you,
but fail because you win.
And their families have to watch what you so
heartlessly kill
be buried.
But we have to be fine with it because there's
nothing
we can do
to bring them back.
