Golf Ball
I only have one job:
to get hit so very hard
and to go into a cup.
At the beginning, it is very painful,
but by the end, it is quite fun.
I get to fly over trees
and roll on the grass.
I am mostly with friends
in our hopefully-large pocket.
I am most times lost,
and never found.
I have many names
tattooed to the front of my body
in a few different colors,
like white, yellow, orange, and, pink.
I mostly get grass stains
and sometimes get drowned.
But by the end of the day,
I am either in the bag,
in the woods,
or in the pond.
