dumb mistakes that I’ve made

that pushed me to my knees
and pushed me till I prayed

that made me stronger
after sharpening its blade

that made me hopelessly devoted
and in church I danced and swayed

thats stung my tounge
like sour lemonade

like an unfair trade

I decided nothing could be worse and
I was unafraid
