We Are A Tree
Still under the ground
Not yet found
Rooting through the soil-
Growing slowly
I stand strong-
Through all that is thrown at me
Keeping the whole standing
With only my unconditional love
Strong but not stable
I fall-
But have to push through
And reach for middle school
It’s only a blink away
Changing with the seasons-
I get knocked down by wind
But that won’t stop me,
College is a must-
Closer than I think
