Where I’m From
I am from a broken family
Reaching for any sign of hope
From a mother who is the sweetest in the world
And still in jail
From a father who has been in trouble
And still has no regard
From a brother that’s always there
But lives two hours away
I am from a devastating and destructive tornado called life
But tornado ends in dark night’s or sunny day’s
Every tornado is different
Every tornado has a journey, dark clouds, and endless rain.
Every tornado creates havoc, calms down and goes away.
But every tornado leaves a mark
Every tornado is a learning experience
Whether it’s big or small
I am from a devastating and destructive tornado called…. life
But every tornado is different, it just depends on the end
I am from a broken family
Destroyed, rebuilding, and stronger after every storm.
