and blow in the crisp breeze

we send thank-yous                                                                                           

mourn the ones who gave their lives

spend time with family

cooking favorite Thanksgiving foods

the golden-yellows

oranges

browns                           

reds

make a wonderful backdrop for family pictures

the day after is madness

people awaken early                                                    

to be the first in line

if you’re not careful you may get trampled

in the race for low prices

leaves still cover the ground

blowing in the ever chilling air
