Please come in
Maybe if I simply breathe a little softer
I won’t be so scary to hold
Maybe if I speak more elegantly
I won’t be so lonely
Because no matter what I do
I cannot create company
It is futile to consume myself
Trying to fill the space around me
Perhaps I should leave more
As a welcoming banner
A gentle smile as burning incense
Less is more, I guess
However I cannot doubt
that my fear will not be gentle
and once I say please come in
it’ll be as empty as me

Loneliness can drive you to places you'd never thought you'd see. Avoid it at all costs
