Seems easy to do I’d say. 
Go to school, come home, get work done, 
but most importantly, 
Be good. 
Simple tasks asked of me by my parents. 
Be good. 
 
Arriving at school,  
its calm and collected, 
but it happens again- 
someone is being made fun of, a person is getting laughed at. 
At the surface the act is happy natured fun; 
Below the surface, not even very far below the surface, 
the person getting laughed at, 
the someone getting made fun of, 
hates it and would want nothing more than for those making fun of them to leave. 
It’d be good for me to stay out of this though. 
 
Later in the day it happens yet again, 
someone is made fun of; a person is getting laughed at. 
My conscious eats away at me for not helping those in need. 
Well it’s not my fault the someone is made fun, or a person is getting laughed at. 
 
I’m being good. 
Aren’t I?

School day is almost over finally, 
but to no one’s surprise. 
someone is made fun of. 
and a person is getting laughed at. 
 I think to myself... 
What's the point of being good if I’m just being good to myself. 
It's time to be the good in another’s life. 
Stepping in I can see that happy natured fun stopped being fun a while ago. 
And I have truly been a good person. 
 
Maybe someday another will do the same as I. 
Be the good in another’s life.
