When it's late
When it's late
The streetlights bathe my room in a honey glow
Outside the city blinks silently
My head on the window sill, cold dripping through the cracks
I think how it would feel
To have your warm body next to mine
I would roll back and look at you
You would smile softly, brush the hair from my face
And pull me into you
I would breathe you in
As your hands ran across my skin
I would reach up to cup your face
And press my lips against yours, softly
It would be warm and sweet
Like honey running down my throat
And you would tell me
I think about you
When it's late
