This Roller Coaster Called Life

Down
Whipping left
Then right
One moment you are at the top of the world
The next you are plummeting down.
Down, down, down
Until you can’t even see a glimmer of light
Scared that you will never recover
And then...
Whoosh
You’re going up again
Up where the sun is shining so bright you can’t see
Up so far you never think you could go down
A smile spreads across your face and the happy feeling finally returns
Then you wait
Wait to see what’s next on this roller coaster called life.
