A saturated meadow,

Dewdrops glimmering like bits of diamond,

On a gleaming disc of jade.

A patch of roses

Face turned skyward

Embracing the sun’s rays

The drops of golden honey.

Watching clouds explore the vastness of blue

Meandering around like puffs of cotton candy

Searching tirelessly for a destination.

The sun gazes upon the hidden secrets

The roses hold

Kept in the depths of their petals

For when spring peeks its head

Around the corner,

When the sun sheds its tender rays

Undisturbed by winter’s chill

The roses slip into their red dresses

And frolic about

Here in the meadow

Let your troubles lay

Simply confide in the roses

I absolutely adore how you describe things in this! Especially that simile about the dewdrops being like bits of diamond! Of course, if you wanted to be politically correct it would be crystal, not diamond, since diamonds are technically a little cloudy-looking, but I still love the imagery in any case.
