Lack of Knowledge
Without mercy,
I place the draw four uno card on the deck
He pulls
Out a draw four himself
Oh, what a smart son I’ve raised
The
Smirk on his face grows when he sees my
Face
Trigger-
ing my feelings
He has won
But he always does
The darkness
Of the room masking my happiness to see his joy, but out
Of my complexion
He could see my white teeth showing which
Makes him scared
Because he knows what I was going to ask
Sorry son?
Asking if he wanted to play a different game,
I
am definitely winning this time.
He
Wished I had said
The Game of
Life,
The game when life begins, but sadly has to end
Little did he know
The deck of cards in my pocket was for my son
