Alone

When you're alone there is a stare.
A noise so quiet you cannot hear.
but don’t be afraid for it is there.
Someone will come along and care.
When alone you stare.
Stare at nothing, stare at the ground.
Stare at the wall, curl up in a mound.
When someone is alone they stare.
They cry out for help.
You may not hear it but you sense it.
You feel it as clear as day.
They’re there, they need your help.
