I Owe You
I owe you what little money I have.
I can't pay you today, or tomorrow.
I don't understand why my race,
or sexual preference will matter anyway.
But through your many eyes,
it will always matter.
I only can live off of top ramen--and rice
Why so cruel? Can’t you be nice.
I have to work full time just to make enough to live,
to pay you in this lifetime.
With all this you send me more cards that I do not need.
I only want to become successful.
why can’t you see that,
borrowing from the people that I love.
All I’m trying to do is keep it all on track,
But this never seems to never-end.
4 years until It becomes worse...
2 more for money that I can't keep.
A’s are the only thing that matters,
but all of those get away.
I’ll settle for C’s...
Those do get degrees.
