You, Life
You, Life, what have you done to me?
You've taken away everything that could have ever made me free.
Half my life was spent locked away,
And the other half was filled with pain each day.
You gave me a family, but you made them not care;
I had a heart once, but you made it tear.
You kept me all lonely, after all I fought through;
In fact, the people I did end up meeting hated me too!
You gave me problem after problem to deal with as if I could,
But I was just a young girl without a childhood.
So tell me now, tell me please
What did I do to deserve the life you've given me?
