Find me here,
And speak to me.
A moment gone by,
A second in time.
Fear pulling fast,
Despair pulling hard
Slipping through my fingers-
But hope still lingers.
A touch, a gesture
Meaningless, except to me
A world beyond my horizon
Only for me to see.
It's a climb,
The fear of falling
Look up at the stars,
The ground still calling.
Crepuscular dawn fragments,
A new beginning again
The rush, the breeze
Then blinding pain.
Pick yourself back up,
Don't let your shoulders bend
Remember the breeze,
Remember, this is not the end.
