Clarity
I never claimed to be anything like who I seem
But you know you change like you’re part of me
And there’s silence in the room and you don’t know who you are
And the silence in the room tells me we’re never getting far

‘cause I don’t pretend to understand life’s mysteries
And many days that includes you and me

And I see all your fallen dreams
It’s a shame I treat them like they’re part of me
So why look at the past when it’s all said and done?
See if you want something that lasts I guess I can’t be the one

And I don’t pretend to understand you and me
But you don’t even understand who you’re going to be
