When the Rain Speaks
when the rain speaks,
 Sometimes it is of good cheer.
 It patters on your rooftop
 As you sit with loved ones dear.

 When the rain speaks,
 Oftimes it's not so glad;
 Angry Lightning, Livid Thunder
 Streak across the land.

 Thunder yells at Lightning
 And Lightning strikes disdain,
 Then the raindrops quietly fall
 To silence them again.

 Sometimes when the land is dry,
 Tears of pity gather in Rain's eyes.
 The tears are loosed, The Rain cries,
 The land is soothed -

 Then Rain does die.
