When it Rains it Pours
When it rains it pours
I closed the windows and locked the doors
I love you, but I can't let you in
My thoughts turned into my biggest sin
I hid it so well that something was wrong
But the problem has been there all too long
The poison is consuming me all too quick
But maybe your love will do the trick

 When it rains it pours
My thoughts take over and my mind soars
To a place where all the pain is gone
Where I can easily lose myself in a song
Where my mind is at peace and my body at ease
Where my biggest temptation is no longer a tease
Where I could live forever and never go back
But reality hits me, and the day turns black

 When it rains it pours
The lightning strikes and the thunder roars
The truth is very alive and well
If only I could escape this hell
You want to help, your heart is true
I'd give up the struggle just for you
I can call you mine and you can call me yours
But always remember, when it rains it pours
