Yin and Yang
Like a cherry blossom on a limb
We blew around the air on a whim
The world was full of bright wonders
We couldn’t hear the rain and thunders

The born anew phoenix soared into infinity
Our loving friendship the truest trinity
We were told to sit and wait with rapture
But our hearts were bitter-beaten, the wind didn’t capture

Our place in this world was just silent living
To our families we were worthless, but kept giving
Told to be delicate like the flower,
So we hid our hearts in a faraway tower

Our lives were fated to be so
We couldn’t outrun the joy nor the woe
We sat in a room ignorant to the earth
Waiting the blissful day of recognition in rebirth

Mindful, respectful, all an artist in composure
Our wishes, wants, and dreams set in an enclosure
A mindless wanting for true love, a faint hope
The hardest path, a slippery slope

I ask no question, for I am not born desired
Little more than a servant, despised, but hired
Is it our fault we were born this way?
Without us, Yin and Yang is like night without day

I am a cherry blossom on a tree
The intuitive phoenix that was born not to see
My stowed away heart lay in the tower
My wishes in this life hold no power
For the Yin and Yang must always flow
 There lies all women's woes
