this mask i wear
to hide the shame
to hide my words
to hide my name
this mask i wear
cannot replace
the sorrowed eyes
my furrowed face
this mask i wear
is so real to me
you seem not to know
you seem not to see
they pass me by
without a glance
i sit alone
in my own lonely trance
this mask i wear
isn’t
me.
this mask i wear
is all
you see.

actually, yes. you should check out my forum, called 1:30. a lot of people were talking to me about it, and maybe you could understand this one better if you read it :)

This is a very interesting poem, and well worded. All though 'the masks' of poetry have been put on so many times, this is a new face; and I like the look. Well done with this well written piece, my friend.
